Big Willy A has been singing and playing guitar for the last 30 years playing Rock, Blues, Jazz, Bluegrass, and Country music to audiences all over the Golden State. Born in the Central Valley of California, Big Willy moved back to Visalia from the San Diego area to be near family and to pursue a Master's Degree in English. A fortuitous Craigslist ad hooked Big Willy up with a semi-recent transplant also from San Diego, and bass player extraordinaire Ken Richardson. Bad Luck and Trouble was first formed as a traditional blues duet with Willy and Ken playing coffee houses and other small venues until the acquisition of "Mississippi" Chris Black, the biggest, baddest drummer in the Valley completed the trio. When combined, the experience and versatile musicianship of Big Willy, Ken Richardson's eclectic taste for new and adventurous interpretations of classic music, and the raw, primal power of "Mississippi" Chris make the members of Bad Luck and Trouble the most exciting, unique and entertaining live music performers currently playing in the Central Valley!
